No, Ori uses his own account and sometimes guest checkout depending on retailer.

How does Ori make money?
Ori is free to chat with. The service fee is charged once per order at 1% of the quoted total, with a $0.50 minimum and no maximum.
Does Ori use my bank account or credit card?
Ori never receives your bank credentials or raw card details. On an eligible item checkout link, you enter your card details or use Apple Pay in a secure checkout, then approve the payment there. You can also choose to fund Ori's wallet with a wallet top-up.
How do Ori's secure payment links work?

A wallet top-up link lets you add funds to Ori’s wallet with Cash App, Strike, or another compatible Lightning wallet.

An item checkout link lets you pay the full purchase total with Cash App, Strike, or another compatible Lightning wallet. When eligible, it may also offer a credit or debit card or Apple Pay. Your card details stay in the secure checkout, and you approve the payment there.

What does paying by card cost?

When you pay an eligible item checkout link by credit or debit card, the total is the product cost, estimated tax and shipping, and Ori’s service fee — charged once per order at 1% of the order total ($0.50 minimum, no maximum). Card processing costs nothing extra: Ori covers those fees. Paying by card, Apple Pay, or from your Ori wallet all cost the same.

Retailer differences can change the tax and shipping estimate and final reconciliation, but they do not change the service-fee rate. A card payment starts with an authorization for the estimated total. If the retailer’s final cost comes in lower, the difference is refunded to your card.

Can Ori buy stuff I don't want?
No, Ori only shops for the things you ask for. He might bring you options and deals you do not want, but he will never buy them unless you consent to it.
Does Ori buy things without asking me first?
No, Ori will never buy things without you asking first. Ori checks with you before completing any purchase.
