How Ori keeps you safe

Your payment details stay private

Ori never receives your bank credentials or raw card details. When card or Apple Pay is available, Stripe handles those details in its secure checkout.

Always asks before buying

Ori only orders after you say yes. He surfaces options and prices, but the purchase doesn't happen until you confirm it in chat.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

All traffic to Ori is encrypted with TLS. Stored messages, account data, and payment metadata are encrypted on disk by our hosting providers.

Your data is yours

Chat history is kept for up to 90 days for context. You can request deletion at any time and we'll honor it.

How payments work

You can fund Ori's wallet with a secure wallet top-up link. Eligible item checkout links may also offer card or Apple Pay; Stripe securely collects those details while you approve the payment.

  1. Ori finds it

    You text Ori what you want. He searches retailers, confirms the price, and shows you the option in chat.

  2. You approve

    Nothing is purchased until you approve it. You can fund Ori's wallet, or use card or Apple Pay when an eligible item checkout offers it. Stripe handles the raw card details.

  3. Ori orders, you get the receipt

    The order is funded from Ori's wallet or from your approved Stripe checkout. You get the order confirmation and final amount in chat.

What we do with your data

Short version: we collect what we need to make Ori work, we don't sell it, and you can delete it.

  • Encrypted everywhere. TLS in transit and encryption at rest on the providers we run on.
  • 90-day chat history. Messages roll off after 90 days so Ori has just enough context to be useful, not more.
  • No selling your data. We don't sell personal information, ever. Full stop.
  • Delete on request. Email us and we'll remove your account and chat history. See the privacy policy for the full list of rights.
